mixed experience with some issues

freezing refrigerator undrinkable coffee
the room allowed me to open a window, a feature i liked.
the refrigerator completely froze my water (it even split the can). our leftovers were also ruined because i couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature. i found no coffee maker in the room, and the bistro charged almost $20 for two undrinkable cups of coffee.

charmed by this unexpected gem

friendly staff helpful advice priced snacks
the staff was genuinely friendly and offered helpful advice about local attractions (i especially appreciated their metro tips). our room included an iron with board, bath robes. wine and champagne glasses. i found a little shop near the pool with snacks priced so well.
I noticed that the location wasn't ideal. I would consider paying a bit more next time for a more convenient spot.

the hotel is very close to the metro, it makes accessing different parts of the city easy. the outdoor pool area was relaxing, it featured palm trees and shrubs. i did not that the local neighborhood was not the best.

loud air conditioning small breakfast area
the bed was comfortable enough.
The noise isolation was horrible. I could hear everything happening in the hallway. the air conditioning made a loud noise. it was impossible to sleep well. also, the breakfast area was too small. there was not enough seating, so people were standing around waiting.
